Corey Walker with M-III Longview LLC and Jason Swords with Sunflower Development Group will be in attendance to provide an update on the progress made since the December 2016 approval of the TIF Contract.

Background:
In December of 2016 the City Council approved the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Contract for the New Longview Farm TIF (2015 TIF) as well as the 2nd Amended and Restated Longview Farm TIF (2003 TIF) - Ordinance No. 8026 attached. As part of the TIF contract a City interfund loan is approved for use in weatherization and stabilization efforts related to the certain historic structures and other features of Longview Farm once certain conditions have been met in accordance with the contract. Currently, Sunflower Development Group is moving forward with efforts to renovate the North Arch and weatherization and stabilization of the Calf & Shelter Barn, Dairy Barn & Milk House as well as the Farm Office and Dairy Manager house.
Prior to weatherization and stabilization work taking place M-III Longview and Sunflower Development Group felt it would be beneficial to update the Mayor and Council on the progress status of these efforts.
