Issue/Request:
The City’s proposed Thoroughfare Master Plan 2015-2040 provides a planned network of roadways for transportation throughout the City, assesses future travel conditions and identifies roadway improvements that address traffic related operations, safety, livability and economic activity priorities along roadway corridors. The proposed Thoroughfare Master Plan 2015-2040 is an update to the plan most recently adopted in 2006 and would be incorporated in the City’s Comprehensive Plan by resolution of the Planning Commission.
Recommendation
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Planning Commission vote to direct staff to PRESENT A RESOLUTION adopting the Thoroughfare Master Plan 2015-2040 as an amendment to the City of Lee's Summit Comprehensive Plan.
