AN ORDINANCE APPROVING, ADOPTING AND APPROPRIATING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF LEE'S SUMMIT, MISSOURI, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2017.
Key Issues:
On May 19, 2016 a public hearing was scheduled to present the annual budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017 (FY17). The entire budget request, for all funds, totaled $208.4M with a general fund budget of $64.4M.
Proposed City Council Motion:
I move to adopt AN ORDINANCE APPROVING, ADOPTING AND APPROPRIATING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF LEE'S SUMMIT, MISSOURI, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2017.
Background:
During review of the budget, the City Council discussed funding for programs and services as outlined in the FY17 budget.
The attached documents outline the proposed budget and include Exhibit A, the FY17 Pay Plan.
