Background:
City staff previously informed the City Council that City staff has switched from publishing notices in the Lee’s Summit Tribune to another newspaper due to the legal requirements imposed upon the City by state statute. The City Council requested that this issue be discussed by the Community & Economic Development Committee to review whether City staff should also continue to publish in the Lee’s Summit Tribune when not required by state law.
