Continued Discussion:  2026 Legislative Priorities

Each year the Committee recommends legislative priorities to the City Council.  The priorities brochure for last year is attached to this packet.  This discussion will kick off our preparation for the 2026 legislative season.

 

Update 9-15-25: At the direction of the Committee, staff has updated the legislative priority document to remove items that are no longer relevant and add a small number of new ones. 

 

Update 11-20-2025:  During the last Committee meeting, Committee members provided comments related to the priorities document.  Staff has revised the document and caused the creation of a draft of the final color rack card document.  That draft is attached to this packet.
