Issue/Request:
Revisions to the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code were approved by City Council on January 8, 2019. Staff is bringing the ordinance back before the CEDC for amendments.
After the previous ordinance was passed, staff began working on implementation for April 1st 2019 effective date. Staff identified minor scrivener’s errors and omissions. The nature of these errors are mislabeled sections and omission of existing code provisions related to tree maintenance and composting. None of the amendments in this ordinance change the meaning or intent of the code. Rather, this ordinance constitutes corrections.
