Body

Issue/Request:

An Ordinance approving Amendment No. 2 to the budget for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2025, as adopted by Ordinances 9936, 9937, 9938, 9939, and 9940, by amending the authorized expenditures for the City.

Key Issues:

-Mayor and City Council are in the process of approving Public Service Agreements (PSA) with Downtown Lee's Summit Main Street and Lee's Summit Visitors Bureau (LSVB), the budget amendment adds the needed spending authority in the Business and Industry fund meeting the City's committed funding level for each PSA.

Downtown Lee's Summit Main Street                  $120,000.00 (an increase of $60,000 to the original $60,000 approved in the FY25 budget)

                     Lee's Summit Visitors Bureau                                           $395,000.00

-Addition of one (1) Full Time Equivalent (FTE) to the Administration FTE count for the LSVB Executive Director position and increase the Administration spending authority for the personnel costs.

- Increase in General Fund Revenue to reflect the reimbursement from the LSVB for the personnel cost of Executive Director
