Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving an agreement for Professional Engineering Services between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Transystems Corporation for the Pryor Road Improvements from Longview Road to Hook Road (RFQ No. 2020-046) for an amount not to exceed $1,114,598.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement of the same.
Key Issues:
· The Pryor Road Improvement project was authorized by voters as part of the renewal of the Capital Improvements Sales Tax in 2017
· City Council formally programmed funding for the project as part of the FY2020 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
· City Staff Issued RFQ No. 2020-046 to conduct a Qualification Based Selection for professional engineering services, in accordance with state statutes and local procurement policies
· TranSystems was selected for the project and satisfactorily conducted negotiations for scope and fee with City Staff

I move for a adoption of an Ordinance approving an agreement for Professional Engineering Services between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Transystems Corporation for the Pryor Road Improvements from Longview Road to Hook Road (RFQ No. 2020-046) for an amount not to exceed $1,114,598.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement of the same.
Background:
