Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving the award of Bid No. 889 for the Traffic Calming Project on NW Lake Dr to Quality Custom Concepts, Inc. DBA Quality Custom Construction in the amount of $99,683.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.
Key Issues:
· This project is a result of the Neighborhood Traffic Safety Program (NTSP). All necessary studies, resident engagement and petition processes of the Neighborhood Traffic Safety Program (NTSP) were completed.
· This project was recommended by the NTSP study that was performed for the work requested by residents.
· This project was supported by Lakewood POA to study and install traffic calming on NW Lake Dr.
· This project will install one raised crosswalk, two speed humps, and associated signage on Lake Dr.
Proposed Committee Motion:
I move to recommend to the City Council approval of an Ordinance approving the award of Bid No. 889 for the Traffic Calming Project on NW Lake Dr to Quality Custom Concepts, Inc. DBA Quality Custom Construction in the amount of $99,683.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.
