Staff Report: City Manager FY26 Audit recommendations

Issue/Request:
In accordance with the Lee's Summit Code of Ordinances, Chapter 2, Section 2-552, the City Manager is to "prepare and submit to the Council a written recommendation of any matter relative to the City government or any City operation or program that the City Manager deems appropriate for a management/performance review for consideration by the Council for possible funding in the next fiscal year budget. The annual recommendation shall be submitted to the Council by the last meeting of the City Council in April."
The attached memorandum contains the City Manager's written recommendation for management/performance reviews for the FY26 budget period, and includes pursuing a Pay and Growth Plan study, developing a Communications Strategy, and a GIS Strategy.
