Issue/Request:

An Ordinance approving Amendment No. 7 to the budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, as adopted by Ordinances 10132, 10133,10136,10137, and 10138, by amending the authorized expenditures for the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.

 

 

Key Issues:

-Increase spending authority Parks and Recreation Athletics for the remainder of the fiscal year by $5,000 for referees

-During Workday implementation portions of the Public Works Operations budget was placed in Public Works Administration, the amendment will move the money back to the Operations cost center to support work activity through the end of the fiscal year, $259,995 is the amount being moved.

-Two GIS Tech positions are moving from IT Services, one to Public Works and one to Development Services.   With these moves one other IT Services position is being moved to Water Utilities to support their operations

-An updated Pay and Classification plan is presented, it includes the new pay tables for the represented Fire and Communications staff
