Key Issues:
Jim McKenna, Community Marketing Director will be presenting a Community Marketing Overview and Tim Arbeiter, President of the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce will be discussing "next steps" for the Community Marketing program.
Background:
In July of 2014, the City and Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce entered into a Public Service Agreement (PSA) for the promotion of the general economic welfare of the City and allocated funds to the Chamber as compensation for the performance of services pursuant to the agreement. The PSA is a 3 year agreement which runs through June 30, 2017. The PSA identifies $126,000 in City funding annually for a 3 year period, subject to annual appropriations by the City.
