Body

Issue/Request:

An Ordinance approving Amendment No. 15 to the budget for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2024, as adopted by Ordinances 9704, 9705, 9706, 9707, and 9708, by amending the authorized expenditures for the City.

Key Issues:

-Budget Amendment No. 15 is to transfer received grant money to the appropriate City fund that expenses were paid, this would be referred to as a clean up amendment for FY24

-Transfer money from Fund 256-ARPA to Fund 359 Green Street improvements, otherwise known as the Downtown Market Plaza.  Council approved the use of the ARPA funds for the DTMP with the approval of FY23 Budget Amendment No. 2, Ordinance No. 9497 on September 13, 2022

-Transfer money from Fund 256 ARPA to Fund 322, the City received a grant award to support the improvement of the Sampson Road Bridge Project

-Transfer money from Fund 245 VAWA to Fund 100 General Fund, this is to catch up on reimbursing the General Fund for approved expenses related to the VAWA grant from the Department of Justice

-Transfer money from Fund 301 to Fund 100 General Fund, the Summit Woods East TIF is closed out.  The remaining money can be transferred to the General Fund.
