Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving Amendment No. 4 to the budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, as adopted by Ordinances 10400, 10401, and 10402, by amending the authorized expenditures for the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Key Issues:
-The Police department was awarded a Blue Shield Grant for $29,070. The amendment recognizes the revenue and spending authority for the Grant
-The ITS department needs an increase of $864,436 in spending authority for certain department specific software agreements. Some of the expense was budgeted and transferred from departments, the remaining amount will come from the ITS fund balance.
-Transfer of budget from Equipment Replacement Fund to the General Projects fund, $915,950, to pay annual lease payments for Workday and Teller. This is being done for subscription-based IT arrangements (SBITAs), GASB 96 financial reporting
