I move to recommend to the City Council approval of AN ORDINANCE AWARDING BID NO. 14431683-C, CITY OF LEE'S SUMMIT WATER UTLILITIES FACILITY TO FOGEL-ANDERSON CONSTRUCTION CO. IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,279,047.19 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SAME.
Background:
HDR engineering was selected and contract approved on January 29, 2014 for the design of the Water Utilities Facility. The project was bid on June 7, 2016 and the successful bidder’s contract is being brought forward parallel to this modification. This modification will add additional time for the construction oversight for this project to match the final construction documents. This modification will also cover the preparation of as-built drawings for the facility.
