Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving the award of Bid Number 2021-066 to Tandem Paving Co., Inc., for on-call Asphalt Construction and Repairs, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same for a period of one year with four possible one-year renewal options.

Key Issues:

· Multiple City departments need to have asphalt pavement repairs performed.

· City staff issued Bid Number 2021-066 seeking qualified firms to provide on-call pavement construction for the Parks Department and the City. (hereinafter "Bid N0. 2021-066").

· Tandem Paving Co., (hereinafter "Contractor") was determined to be the lowest and best bidder by City staff.

· Funding for Bid No. 2021-066 is provided by specific projects or programs approved by Council in the City's annual operating budget or Capital Improvement Plan.

· The City desires to enter into an agreement with Contractor to provide the Services.

I move to recommend to the City Council approval of an Ordinance approving the award of Bid Number 2021-066 to Tandem Paving Co., Inc., for on-call Asphalt Construction and Repairs, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same for a period of one year with four possible one-year renewal options.
