Proposed Council Motion:
I move for second reading of an Ordinance approving an Intergovernmental agreement between the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, through the Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation Board and Jackson County, Missouri Parks and Recreation for facility use to support programming for various Jackson County Parks and Recreation Programs and authorizing the Mayor to execute the same.
I move for adoption of an Ordinance approving an Intergovernmental agreement between the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, through the Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation Board and Jackson County, Missouri Parks and Recreation for facility use to support programming for various Jackson County Parks and Recreation Programs and authorizing the Mayor to execute the same.

Background:
Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation (hereinafter “LSPR”) and Jackson County Parks and Recreation (hereinafter “JCPR”) partner on a number of initiatives to promote and offer recreation activities for residents and patrons in the City and surrounding community.
