Title
An Ordinance approving the City of Lee's Summit Entitlement Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2024-25 Annual Action Plan. (CEDC 3/13/24)

Body
Key Issues:
To receive CDBG funding from HUD for the 2024-25 program year, the City is required to submit an Annual Action Plan that lays out the community’s goals and objectives for the grant program as well as programs and projects to be funded to implement the 2020-24 Consolidated Plan. The City conducts an open public process each year to solicit funding requests from local government and non-profit agencies. These requests have been prioritized and adopted for implementation of programs and projects approved for funding.
The CEDC held a public hearing on March 13, 2024 as part of this open public process. During the CEDC hearing applicants had an opportunity to present their proposals and funding needs. Based off these proposals and current funding allocations, CEDC agreed with the staff recom...
