Key Issues:
· The City of Lee’s Summit and Motorola Solutions, Inc. entered into an Agreement (the "Base Agreement") for Joint Operations Center radio system infrastructure work under the Joint Operations Center Migration Plan executed on 03/25/2025.
· This Ordinance authorizes the execution of Change Order No. 4.
· The purpose of Change Order No. 4 is the addition of major system components including 26 AXS consoles for Fire, Police, and Regional Backup/Training dispatch, six (6) Consolettes, MCD Desksets, Control Station Combiner, associated Antenna and Line, Storm Siren System Update, and AXS Training.
· The underlying costs covered by this change order include the Motorola Dispatch Radio Position Upgrade for all radios and communication system components necessary for interoperability and redundancy within the primary dispatch center and backup facility (both housed within the JOC).
