An Ordinance authorizing the execution of an Agreement between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Titan Built, LLC to set Guaranteed Maximum Price 1 (GMP 1) for Police/Courts Phase 2 Renovations Project in the amount of $1,398,615.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.


Key Issues:

· Pursuant to Ordinance No. 9898 approved on April 23, 2024, the City entered into a preconstruction services agreement (Agreement) with Titan Built, LLC for the amount of $87,825.00 for certain preconstruction services and to establish a guaranteed maximum price (“GMP”) to construct the Joint Operations Facility and Phase 2 Police/Courts Renovations.

· For GMP 1, addressing long-lead items for the Police/Courts Phase 2 Renovations Project work, Titan Built, LLC received 20 bids and will award 7 subcontracts.

FIRST MOTION: I move to recommend to City Council approval of the Ordinance authorizing the execution of an agreement between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Titan Built, LLC to set Guaranteed Maximum Price 1 (GMP 1) for Police/Courts Phase 2 Renovations Project in the amount of $1,398,615.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
