Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving Modification No. 1 to an Agreement dated April 28, 2020, (RFQ No. 2020-046) for Professional Engineering Services for the Pryor Road Improvements from Longview Road to Hook Road project with TranSystems Corporation, for an increase of $64,714 with an amended not to exceed amount of $1,179,312, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.

Key Issues:
· Pursuant to Ordinance No. 8865, the City and TranSystems Corporation entered into an Agreement dated April 28, 2020 (RFQ No. 2020-046) for Professional Engineering Services for the Pryor Road Improvements from Longview Road to Hook Road project (hereinafter "Base Agreement")
· City staff has determined the necessity of adding a water main along the west side of Pryor Road to facilitate future development
· TranSystems Corporation (hereinafter “Engineer”) has submitted a proposal for the design of the additional water line with estimated costs
· The City desires to modify the Base Agreement with Engineer to provide for this additional scope of engineering services during design (hereinafter “Modification No. 1”)
