Discussion on existing ordinance and revisions

 

This is a continuation of the CEDC discussion that was held on May 14, 2025 in which the CEDC, through consent, directed staff to bring this forward to the full council.

 

 

Key Issues:

 

  • City Council approved the current ordinance on July 11,2013

 

  • City staff discussed this topic with the Community Economic Development Committee on May 14, 2025

 

  • City staff was directed to bring the discussion to the full City Council

 

  • If Lee's Summit increased the number of allowed chickens, what other city regulations should we adopt
