Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving Modification No. 1 to an Agreement for Professional Engineering Services for Raintree BEAP Bridge Repair with Great River Engineering, for an increase of $64,605.00 with an amended not to exceed amount of $137,385.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.


Key Issues:
· The City and Great River Engineering entered into an Agreement for Professional Engineering Services for Raintree BEAP (Bridge Engineering Assistance Program) Bridge Repair dated April 8, 2024 (hereinafter "Base Agreement").

· The City does not have experienced bridge rehabilitation CIP inspectors.

· Great River Engineering (hereinafter "Engineer") has submitted a proposal with estimated costs to provide additional engineering services during construction of the Raintree Spillway Bridge Deck Rehabilitation.

· The City desires to modify the Base Agreement, with Engineer to provide said construction phase services (hereinafter "Modification No. 1").

I move to recommend to City Council approval of an Ordinance approving Modification No. 1 to an Agreement for Professional Engineering Services for Raintree BEAP Bridge Repair with Great River Engineering, for an increase of $64,605.00 with an amended not to exceed amount of $137,385.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.
