An Ordinance approving a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Amendment to State Block Grant Agreement, Amendment #1 for Project No. 23-109A-1 by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, for the design of a Terminal Building at the Lee's Summit Municipal airport and authorizing the Mayor to execute the same.

I move to recommend to City Council approval of an Ordinance approving a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Amendment to State Block Grant Agreement, Amendment #1 for Project No. 23-109A-1 by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, for the design of a Terminal Building at the Lee's Summit Municipal airport and authorizing the Mayor to execute the same.
Background:
The Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport received a grant in the amount of $427,698.00 for the design and bidding of a Terminal Building. During the completion of the project, it was determined additional time was required to complete the project. This amendment will extend the grant expiration date to December 31, 2027.
