Body

Issue/Request:

An Ordinance approving Amendment No. 8 to the budget for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2025, as adopted by Ordinances 9936, 9937, 9938, 9939, and 9940, by amending the authorized expenditures for the City.

Key Issues:

-The fueling station located on Main street needs a backup power source to support City fueling needs at times when the electrical power may be out.

-Water Utilities has a generator in good condition that is being replaced, the Fleet Division of Public Works would like to use this generator as a backup power source to the fueling station.

-The Fleet fund would transfer $8,0000 to the Water Utilities fund to acquire the generator.

-Addition of an FTE to Administration for a position to manage and oversee the Green Street facility titled Facilities and Events Manager

-Update of the Pay and Class plan with the new position

-Current year vacancy savings will cover FY25 costs, the position is being added to the FY26 Proposed Budget
