Issue/Request:
The applicant proposes to vacate the subject right-of-way in association with the development of Pathways at Kensington Farms Phase 1. The subject right-of-way houses an existing street stub that is no longer needed to serve the area street network. The right-of-way and street stub conflict with the lot layout approved as part of the preliminary development plan for Pathways at Kensington Farms Phase 1. No objection to the proposed vacation of right-of-way has been raised by any private utility, the City’s Public Works or Water Utilities Departments.
