Background:
The public hearing for Application #PL2018-234 - Preliminary Development Plan - DTLS Apartments, 114 SE Douglas Street; Cityscape Properties, LLC, applicant was held on March 19, 2019 and the public hearing closed. Subsequent to the public hearing, A motion was made and seconded that Bill No. 19-50 be advanced to second reading to coincide with the reading of the [ordinance for the] financial incentive package. A substitute motion was then made and seconded that consideration of Bill No. 19-50 be postponed to coincide with the report from the TIF Commission regarding the Preliminary Development Plan at 114 SE Douglas Street. The substitute motion carried by a vote of 6 - 3.
***A condition of approval has been added to the ordinance requiring the developer to execute a mutually satisfactory development agreement with the City, which addresses, at a minimum, sanitary sewer improvements.***
Proposed City Council Motion:
I move for adoption of an Ordinance approving a Preliminary Development Plan located at 114 SE Douglas Street in District CBD, proposed DTLS Apartments in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 33, the Unified Development Ordinance of Lee’s Summit Code of Ordinances, for the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
