Issue/Request:
The applicant requests to vacate the entirety of a 15’ utility easement dedicated in 2003 that was not vacated at the time of replatting or at the time construction of the existing dealership building commenced in 2007. The existing building conflicts with the easement location. There are no utilities located within the easement to be vacated.
Proposed City Council Motion:
I move for a second reading of an Ordinance vacating a portion of easement located at 610 NW Blue Parkway in the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Recommendation
With the following condition of approval the application meets the goals of the Ignite! Comprehensive Plan:
1. The vacation of easement shall become effective immediately at the time of ordinance approval.
Committee Recommendation
On a motion by Vice Chair Arth, seconded by Mr. Touzinsky, the Planning Commission unanimously voted on July 11, 2024, to approve the Consent Agenda, inclusive of the Ordinance approving a Vacation of Easement located at 610 NW Blue Parkway.
