Title
Presentation: Jackson County Public Health Community Health Assessment Presentation
Body
Issue/Request:
Jackson County Public Health (JCPH) representatives will present relevant results from the most recent community health assessment
To better understand the health needs of residents, JCPH conducts a Community Health Assessment (CHA) every five years. They publish this assessment as a data resource for anyone to use. As you will recall, the City's Wellness Commission reviewed this assessment, discussed it with JCPH staff, and used it to develop the strategic direction for the Commission that was shared with Council last month.
The CHA includes information about Jackson County’s mental health, communicable diseases, maternal & child health, environmental health risks, and much more.
