The City has a Professional Services Agreement with Inceed, for a contracted technical trainer position for the implementation of new or upgraded applications including M365; Cyber Security Training development; and other technical training as defined by needs of the City
Key Issues:
*The agreement provides for 40 hours a week contracted position to develop and perform training to the City of Lee's Summit employees through online meetings, live training sessions and onsite departmental targeted training for software applications deployed at the City.
*The Contractor has provided to the City an individual who possess a set of unique skills and experience to provide necessary services in furtherance of the Microsoft 365 applications and customized technical training including developing and implementing training material for Information Technology applications and services and the city is in need of continuing these services
*The Technical Training position requires expertise in developing technical training; ability to present Microsoft 365 applications and business uses; and can develop Cyber Security Training Module with the Cyber Security Manager.

I move to recommend approval to the City Council an Ordinance authorizing an increase in spending under the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Lee's Summit and Inceed, LLC for a contracted position to develop and present technical training for a not to exceed amount of $200,000 an authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents for the same by and on behalf of the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
